My Autumn Skincare Routine.

It’s got to that time of year again where your skincare products need changing up. The weather has gotten pretty cold over the past few days in England. My skin is certainly feeling the change in weather.

I picked these up from Superdrug and Boots last month last month. I decided that it was time to change up what facial wash I was using and this one has been doing wonders for my skin. It leaves it feeling so clean and refreshed. It’s also got exfoliating bits in it which is great for my dry areas around the edges of my face.

The moisturisers are from Superdrug, it’s their new de-stress range so I thought I would give it a go. My skin has been feeling quite tired over the last couple of months from bad sleep so these seemed like a perfect fit for me right now. Overall I’m pretty impressed with them both. I use the everyday day and night moisturiser more than the night mask if I’m honest, just because I feel it’s a bit think. I will continue to give it a go though, I think during the winter it will be great. The day and night one id great though! It’s not greasy and I can still apply makeup over the top which is always a bonus.

Now onto the Boho Beach Jelly! For such a long time now I’ve hated having curly hair, then I found this range of products and managing my curly hair is no longer a chore. It leaves my hair feeling light and it really brings out my natural curls.

Those are all the current skincare products I’m currently using. I’m going to try and film a skincare routine video for my YouTube channel. I will try and get that done in the next couple of weeks.

What skincare products are you using right now?

Much love,

Primark Haul – Autumn 2018

Guess what?

I finally, (yes! Finally) uploaded a Primark Haul video for Autumn.

I received a lot of messages this year asking me if I was going to make a YouTube channel.

The answer is yes!

I have finally started posting more. I hope to be posting once a week from now on!

Be sure to head over to my channel and subscribe for new videos. I’m very excited about starting this adventure. It’s a way to make myself feel a bit more comfortable and confident in front of the camera as well as in myself.

Much love,

My Go To Spring Lipstick.

Happy Sunday! I hope you’ve all had a fantastic weekend and are feeling excited and ready for a new week. I certainly am!

I tend to go through stages of wearing lipstick and just sticking to lip balm. With the weather warming up it’s inspired and motivated me to experiment a bit more with my make-up.

Late last year I purchased this high shine lip crayon from Primark. When I moved house I rediscovered it. It’s a strong pigmented pink and I love how it looks on my lips. I have been reaching for this lipstick more and more over the past couple of weeks. It’s going to be one of my favourite lipsticks this spring!

What lipsticks have you been reaching for this Spring?

Night-Time Essentials.

Today I want to share with you a few of the products I’ve been loving to use before I go to bed. There is nothing better than getting into bed having done a full pampering session on yourself. A few weeks ago I picked up this Clean and Clear blackhead clearing daily scrub. I tend to get a fair few blackheads around my nose area and it makes me feel quite self-conscious. After using this for a few days I could already notice a difference. It’s also worth mentioning that this product is oil free. (hands up if you’re an oily t-zone person) I like to do this scrub in an evening time as i can let my skin breath overnight rather than putting makeup over the top straight away.

There is something so therapeutic about putting a face mask on, lying down on your bed and reading a good book. I know it’s recommended to leave the face mask on for between 10-15 minutes, but I would be lying if I didn’t tell you that it’s likely I leave it on for 30 minutes.

That enough about your face eh? Lets move on to body! I’ve been using (yes I know) another Soap and Glory product. What can I say! They have great products. My boyfriend’s mum bought me this as a Christmas gift and I have to tell you, it is one of the best body moisturisers that I’ve ever used. It smells amazing and it leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft.

I would love to know what products you use for your daily night-time routine.

My Spring Make-up Bag.

Processed with VSCO with hb2 preset

Who’s excited that it’s Friday? Do you have much planned for the weekend?

Today I want to share with you my Spring Make-up bag. These are products that I use on an every-day basis. I would say the products that I’m using now are the best for me skin and I’m very happy with the finished look after using them.

Some of the products you might recognise from one of my previous posts from last year. Yes, some are still the same as to be honest, I’m so in love with the product, I don’t want to change to something else right now.

✨I’m still using Urban Decay’s Naked 2 Basics Palette. I am so. in. love. with all of the shades in this palette and I have been from the moment I bought it. I’ve hit pan on about 4 of the shades and I will be definitely re-purchasing this again soon!

Collections Long Lasting Perfection concealer has been a long time love of mine. I don’t even know how many of these I have used up. It’s a product I make sure I never run out of!

✨Soap and Glory! Now, this is the first time that I’ve ever used their products and I can tell you now they have and will be products that I have in my makeup bag at all times. The eyeliner is just perfect for me. It’s not too think and it’s super easy to apply. It lasts all day which means I don’t have to top it up whilst I’m at work too. I’ve been on the hunt for a great high street mascara for a while now and finally, I’ve found it! Soap and Glory’s Think and Fast mascara is amazing! It allows me to apply the perfect amount of product to my lashes without looking too clumpy.

✨I’m quite lucky that I’m blessed with fairly good skin. My breakouts and very minimal and I’m able to manage my makeup and skincare routines quite well. I do however tend to get a little redness around my nose which I like to even out. I also get quite an oily t-zone which can cause difficulties in finding a good foundation that won’t enhance that. For a lot of time, I’ve avoided using foundations and just stuck the to concealer. That was until I found Loreal’s Infallible 24Hr Matte Foundation and I have to say! Where has this been all of my life? I use it everyday! It covers my redness and because it’s matte, its absolutely fine to apply on and around my t-zone.

✨I love a good lipstick and I’m forever changing brands but there is always one thing that is all of my lip products have, they are all pretty much the same shade of pink. I love pink! I think it goes perfect with my skin tone and it’s not too overpowering that its the only thing you focus on. At the minute I’m loving using Barry M’s Matte Me Up lip paint. It just glides on your lips and lasts all day. I recently featured it in one of my Monday Must Have posts. You can read that here.

That’s everything I’m pretty much carrying around in my make-up bag. I hope you enjoyed reading this post.

Let me know what make-up products you’re currently loving. If you have any product suggestions for me to try out, I would love to read about them too.

Have a lovely weekend!

Hello Spring.

The past few days have been amazingly sunny and I’ve been trying to take full advantage of it.

Nothing builds confidence more than a bright, sunny Spring day. I love the feeling of putting on a summery dress a pink lipstick.

✨ It makes me feel confident.

✨ It makes me feel positive.

✨ It makes me feel body-confident.

Recently I have been looking up spring inspiration on Pinterest. I want to change up my style this spring. I’ve been loving my natural curls but I want to change my hair colour a little, maybe some blonde highlights. I also want to learn how to plait my hair. (Any tips on how to do this would be greatly appreciated)

I also want to experiment more with my makeup. I have a greeny colour eyeliner so I’m going to be learning how to apply that, I think that it will look great with my eye colour.

Will you be changing up your style this Spring?

Must Have Monday!

I’ve been so excited to share this post with you!

Recently I have been so in love with this product! I love the shade of colour and it stays on all day! What more could I want from a lipstick?

The boyfriend and I went to Canterbury today and I decided that I would wear this and I’m so happy that I did. It stayed on even after eating lunch and drinking coffee. So it’s a solid 10/10 from me!

I’ve had this lipstick for a while but it wasn’t till I was talking to someone at work about it that I decided to get it out and give it a proper try out. I always feel so much more confident when I’ve got lipstick on so it was definitely a nice confidence boost for me today!

Go Go GO GO! Buy it! You will not regret it. (FYI This post is not sponsored)

Enjoy the rest of your Easter Monday!

GRWM – Autumn Edition.

Happy Friday! Today I would like to share with you my Autumn get ready with me. I like particularly like Autumn because I can wear cuddly jumpers, drink hot chocolate and sit propped up against the radiator reading a good book.

I recently picked up this green minimalism jumper from H&M! As soon as I saw it, I knew it would be the perfect Autumnal jumper to wear with a pair of black skinny jeans!

As for makeup, I’ve been going for a natural look using my Urban Decay Naked 2 Basics Palette. I’ve found that the days where I want to wear a stronger makeup look I have been using more of the dark shades in the palette to create a darker crease.

As for my lips I’ve been such a big fan of this velvet matte lipstick crayon that I picked up from Primark. It’s such a beautiful natural look and is perfect for those days when I don’t want to wear a strong colour on my lips.

On my nails I’ve been really loving wearing Barry M’s Gelly Shine Nail Paint in the shade dark green. It’s the perfect shade of green for the autumn time.

My Everyday Makeup Essentials.

I’ve been changing up my makeup routine a lot recently. I’ve been using new eyeshadows and techniques. I’ve really been enjoying applying my makeup!

So here’s what products I’ve been using near enough everyday.

I’m pretty lucky that I’ve got pretty good skin therefore I don’t usually have to apply a lot of foundation. Most days I find myself only applying Collections ‘lasting perfection concealer.‘ It really brightens my face. 🙂

On the days that I do wear foundation I have been using Rimmel’s ‘Wake Me Up’ foundation. I’m really happy with how this feels on my face, it doesn’t feel too heavy and it lasts a decent amount of time.

I’m currently using Zoella’s ‘no filter needed’ makeup bag.

For eyeliner I’m currently using Etude House’s ‘play 101’ eye pencil. I’m not sure that this is available in the UK, I bought it when I was away in South Korea.

On my eyebrows I’m currently using Too Cool for School’s Glam Rock eyeshadow. I find that this is a great shade for my brows.

On my lashes I’m currently using Collections ‘Supersize Fat Lash’ mascara. I couldn’t find a link to the one that I bought. It should be still available in Superdrug as I bought it not that long ago. To be honest, I’ve used better mascara’s, but this is working well for me at the moment! In the future I think that I will consider getting a mascara from Urban Decay.

On my lips I’ve been using the Barry M’s ‘Matte Me Up’ lipstick. I’m in love with this colour. I think that it goes great with my complexion. I find that it lasts all day even after meal times.

So that’s it! Those are all the products I’m currently using. I’m always on the lookout for new products to try. If you’ve got any suggestions, let me know. 🙂

Hope you’re all having a great Monday!

Lush Haul | Autumn Edition.

So yes! It’s officially autumn! Lets talk Lush products! During the autumn time I always find myself wanting to take more baths rather than showers.

My all time favourite bath bomb is the Intergalactic. I’m in love with it. It smells incredible. It makes the water soft which is really moisturising on your skin. Lastly but certainly by no means least is the beautiful colour of the water when the bath bomb is put into the water.

It’s got a very cosy smell to it (I hope that makes sense). In other words, it’s perfect for a rainy day. Grab yourself a cup of tea, a good book and you can relax in the bath for hours with the intergalactic.

I hope that Lush never discontinues this product as I will be incredibly upset!

Okay so, for the boys out there that read my blog. Although I’m pretty sure the majority of my readers are in fact female. Boys, if you want a bath but are afraid of the feminine association that bath products come with. You need not to fear! There is a rocket bath bomb, and let me tell you! It’s beautiful. It lets out similar colours to that of the Intergalactic but I feel as though the scent is not as strong. Although, I will warn you, there is a little glitter. It’s not long lasting so there is no need to worry. 😉

I would like to point out that mostly all of Lush products are in fact non gender specific. Who said beautifully scented and colourful baths were feminine anyway? What ever happened to just having a relaxing bath?

The milk bottle. During my trip to Lush one of the clerks asked me whether or not I have tried a bath cocktail. A bath cocktail you say? Of course I needed to know more! I already had the intergalactic bath bomb in my basket. The lady then suggested that I try the milk bottle with the intergalactic. It will make the water even smoother and the colours will go from vibrant to pastel. It was lovely! I would definitely purchase this again!

I found out about 29 High Street accidentally. A friend from work told me that is was becoming available on Lush Kitchen. After she described it I just knew that I had to have it! It is totally worth it! It is one of my favourite scents of all time. I mean, who wouldn’t want to smell like a Lush Shop?

I’m trying to use it sparingly. I never want it to run out!

Processed with VSCO with hb2 preset

Back to baths! Have you ever wanted a liquid gold bath? Don’t worry, Lush has got you covered! After seeing a demonstration in the shop I wanted to take it home and try it out myself. It was incredibly! Plus, lots of glitter! I will certainly be using lots of these around Christmas time. 🙂

Now if you’re coffee obsessed as much as I am, you will more than likely love this! I love this product. It works well with my skin. It’s not too harsh as I can find some exfoliators to be so, this one is great! It smells just like coffee. What more do you need?

Now, I’ve wanted this for a while and I’ve finally managed to get my hands on it. I’ve had the popcorn one previously which I really liked, but I love this bubblegum one more. I find that if I use it right before I apply lipstick my lipstick goes on so smoothly. 🙂

What products have you been loving from Lush?
