Welcome to Blogmas day 21!
I don’t know about you but during the winter time I often have days where I’m feeling a bit fed up and a bit overwhelmed with all the Christmassy cheer.
When I feel like that it tends to make me feel quite down. This year I decided to buy a few things to keep my mind occupied.
I picked up some cross stitches, some magazines and a colouring book, all Christmas themed of course!
I’ve always found colouring quite comforting and having these things to do in the evening times has really helped relax my mind.
The best part is, you can remove the pages from the finished pictures in the colouring book to decorate your room/house. You can do exactly the same with the cross stitches.
What do you to relax your mind during the festive season?

Hello hello. I’m back. Missed me?
How was your weekend?
Mine was, relaxing to say the least. I got so much reading done. I started reading a new book called Everything Everything. It’s about a girl who can’t leave the house as she will get sick. A new family moved in next door and their teenage son is relentless in finding a way to get to know her.
Its a very sweet book. I’m halfway through already. I spent some time with my family which was great. I took my cousins child swimming yesterday, it was his first time.
Today I’ve hit the ground running. I’m glad to be back into my normal routine. I got up fairly early. I headed straight to the gym. This afternoon I’ve just been focused on getting some writing done. Recently, I’ve been having a lot of inspiration for my book. So I’ve been getting a lot of writing done for that.
I’ve got a day off work tomorrow. I’ve got a lot of appointments to get through. It’s going to be a busy day, but exciting nonetheless.
I hope you have a fantastic week. ❤
Being positive is a great feeling isn’t it? There’s nothing worse than feeling helpless, demotivated and damn right depressed. Here’s 10 people that I look up to, they make me feel positive and motivated. They inspire me to work harder even when I feel like all I want to do is hide from the world. (
or sit and watch TV)
- Casey Neistat
- Brooke Saward
- Megan Bowen
- Eat Your Kimchi
- Brian Johnson
- Career Girl Daily
- Milk Bubble Tea
Everyone takes inspiration from different people and different places. These 10 people (apart from Eat Your Kimchi as they are technically two people) are people that inspire me everyday. I watch their videos, I read their blog posts. I aspire to be just like them. I challenge myself to do the things that they do, and fingers crossed that some day I get to go and explore the world like these guys have done.
So when you’re feeling demotivated and you need some inspiration, check these guys out. Let them inspire you so that you can go on and inspire others.
Are there any people that inspire you? Let me know in the comments below.
Enjoy the rest of your Monday! ❤
